by ~Holyrain, 47 days agoWhat an exciting month for COTL, we've got 3/7 bosses down now in Firelands! As a guild we will continue to try to complete Firelands purely for the achievement factor with at least 8/10 guildies. But as far as progression, we encourage people to PUG any OTHER raid with their toons by joining our organized PUG events. Our goal is to get people so well geared that we are continuing to be successful with our attempts as a guild.
Keep checking the in game calendar for guild and pug raid events and if you haven't signed up your toons on the raid thread in forums, please do so now so that Kurto knows if your toon is viable for the boss requirements. Thank you everyone for your perseverance!
by ~Holyrain, 84 days agoThe exclamations of excitement and disgust are alive in COTL's guild chat with the announcement of Mists of Pandaria. But before you write off WoW to a pokemon/dreamworks sellout...you may want to read the lore behind it yourself and maybe you'll actually get excited again for the tale of Azeroth. After all, there's a reason we love stories like the Lord of The Rings. There's a reason why this game sucks us back to it when others pop onto the scene. It's not just about the iLvl of the gear. There is something that sucks us in when the question is asked "So what happens next?" After all..why do you think DV watches the Young and the Restless? It's about story folks, and you should get excited about it again.
